3:00 PM: We were all feeling rather
subdued today after the failed breakout. Still no sign of
Houdini and his friends. A lady came into the prison and spend
hours grooming Princess. She was so happy she couldn’t stop

back with my friends Lucky and Killer. I wish I could scratch
Trousers for allowing me to be put in this awful place!
11:59 PM: A few hours ago, the guards
put Macavity into a basket and took him away - he has not
returned. I think he’s been given the death-penalty.
